JULY
Artist Guild members have been invited by the city of Airdrie to take part in the Totempole unveiling at Nose Creek Park.   The mayor of our sister city and his family will be there.   It will be held sunday July 1st as part of Canada celebrations. Check your email for times.
  June 9th   painting at nose creek park with Empty Bowls Festival 11 am to 4 pm
  May 9th & 23rd   -- Please bring
1. paintbrushes,
2. small narrow jars for the turps,
3. a palette to put you paint in (like a pill box you can get at the dollar store with the closing lids),
4. A palette to mix the paints on; like a icecream pail lid
5. acrylic paint for the undercoat (like a dark grey or brown)

I will provide the canvas, drawing, oil paints, the turps, the photos.   The workshop charge will be divided, approximately % of the cost.(should be ABOUT 15)
Please let me know if you will attend because I need to pickup the supplies. If you have oil paints and your own supplies thats ok, let me know.   668-4118   Bring someone who wants to learn!!!
April 25th - Bring your pictures to coop, they go up in the library on Friday. From May-June-July-August With an opportunity to replace them. Bring business cards.
April 11th its like Easter Break... if your interested in painting that night see you there!   Just working on your own thing, hows that?   I am working on paintings for the federation...due the 17th.

I will collect pictures for the Smitty's we are hanging them at 9am monday please bring business cards
MARCH 7TH   7p.m.
We will be working on a waterfall picture (spring) picture or flowers.   Please bring your supplies and your own pictures - I will be giving a watercolour demonstratrion, so you can participate in that as well if you like.
February 14th... Oh My Goodness we'll need to bring chocolate, as well as all the materials you will need to make your "flowers in a vase picture". Everyone will work on the same picture (I will play the video and we will follow along) bring whatever medium you like you can prepare your picture by viewing the final in the airdrie artist guild webpage, to the left. See you all soon.
Next Session January 24th   I have videos and we can discuss what art project, artist, art venue we will use the $$ for.  
Don't forget our next project for Smitty's is paintings of spring, flowers and such.   So bring along something to work on and maybe we'll get something started (or done).   Keep working and painting everyone our show at the library is May this year!!! We will need lots of stuff since there are so few artists. Okay thank You!!
December 21st Thursday
Meet at the mall for the fundraiser at noon We will be wrapping gifts   12:00 - 7:00 and
all the proceeds come back to us, Lets have fun Thank you to everyone who helped out!!
December 20th - Bring in your Christmas goodies and we will enjoy a little Christmas Party and watch a video.
The video is about pastels, so if you want you can bring some supplies and go along. We will need to get our meeting minutes in; this is the important date to keep the non-profit society active, see you there.
Keep on painting, our next project will be spring flowers followed by western paintings, (Calgary Stampede time!!)
